Arielle Unger, certified Epigenetic Coach

Arielle Unger is a certified Epigenetic Coach who has been working to optimize health through a genetic lens for several years. She graduated in 2007 from Arizona State University summa cum laude with a BA in psychology. After her husband got diagnosed with stage IV cancer at the age of 25 she took a deep dive into researching health and wellness, which eventually led her down the road to individualized health and epigenetics. Knowing her bent for health research, friends and family would come to her for advice and although growing up she always loved nutrition, she knew she did not agree with the conventional methods and direction of the “one-size fits all” model. This indirect journey eventually led her to find the functional approach to overall health. Now she guides men to optimal health through epigenetic and functional nutrition tools!

Nora Clemens, Nutrition Expert & Coach

Nora Clemens worked as a Consultant Dietitian with elderly residents in nursing homes for many years. She helps busy people who struggle with knowing how to eat healthy in this fast-paced life and want reliable nutrition information, so that they can look and feel their great.

Carolyn Nicholas, FMCHC & Natural Chef

As a former Division 2 women’s basketball player and full athletic scholarship recipient, Carolyn knows what it takes to be a collegiate athlete and team player always focusing on that glass half full. Prior to getting into Functional Medicine, Carolyn worked in the corporate world for one of the largest global asset management companies based in Los Angeles before relocating to London, UK where she started a company that sold desserts into a national UK grocery chain. After her own mother was diagnosed with Parkinson’s a few years later, she realised the importance of preventing dis-ease and utilising food as medicine and became determined to help others achieve the best version of themselves through lifestyle changes. Carolyn has previously worked alongside Functional Medicine practitioners in the UK and as a Noom health coach where she helped to guide, support and empower thousands of people on every step of their health journey. Carolyn lives outside of London with her 13 year old twins.

Derrick Mason

Functional Medicine certified health coach

Derrick Mason has been a teacher, coach, and mental health therapist throughout his 20+ year professional career. He is a Functional Medicine Certified Health Coach. Derrick is also currently in private practice as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Kentucky (and soon to be North Carolina), where his work focuses on helping couples repair their relationships and create the healthiest, most fulfilling connections possible. Derrick has also been a CrossFit coach since 2012, and he owns and runs his own CrossFit gym in Kentucky. In his work with clients, as a health coach, a CrossFit coach, and a therapist, Derrick brings the unique ability to address physical, emotional, and spiritual struggles to empower his clients to create true holistic wellness for themselves.

Personally, Derrick has an interest in the outdoors and adventure recreation. As a teacher in a private school in Asheville, NC, Derrick led mountain biking, paddling (whitewater kayak), and backpacking trips. Derrick has been a whitewater rafting guide on the Ocoee River in Tennessee (the site of the 1996 Summer Olympics Whitewater events) since 1998. He is a veteran of over 30 adventure races (orienteering, mountain biking, trail running, and paddling), ranging in length from 6 hours to 24+ hours. He hiked across the Grand Canyon in a day in 2021, and he is currently in training to hike across the Grand Canyon and back (north rim to south rim, back to north rim) in under 24 hours this June. I think he actually leaves tomorrow for that hike.

Why Preventative Medicine?

You know, the current healthcare model is broken. It doesn’t work. It focuses on treating disease. It’s reactive, it’s passive, it’s one size fits all.

We need to change the paradigm. We need to take responsibility for our health. We need to be proactive, address the underlying cause of disease before it starts and emphasize prevention. It’s a whole body approach to optimizing your health and performance. And it’s individualized.

And that’s why I’ve committed to empowering men like you to take control of your health to achieve high performance.

Because men who are functioning at optimal levels and being smart about their health are more powerful and present husbands and fathers. And that’s my true mission.

Executive Men's Telehealth

We provide concierge-level executive health and wellness expertise utilizing leading video-based telemedicine technology.

The rise of telehealth offers patients instant and convenient medical care from the comfort and safety of their own home. Virtual consults also empower men to seek treatment for issues they might not otherwise address because of time, convenience or embarrassment.

Individualized Medicine

We emphasize science-based precision medicine, personalizing every health decision based on your unique genetic blueprint.

Your genetic code determines how YOUR body best responds to health interventions. No more guessing! Every man is different, and thus needs to be treated differently. The one-size-fits-all approach to health and wellness doesn’t work!

Personalized Performance Blueprint

We take a whole-body approach to health. This means that we focus on how all inputs affect the human system – not just testosterone!

In fact, did you know that testosterone is only responsible for maybe 10-20% of your health and overall performance? For you to lose weight and regain your energy and focus and confidence, and feel like a man again, you need a lot more than just testosterone.

We emphasize a proactive approach to optimizing your health, focusing on 6 key areas – nutrition, sleep, detox, fitness, hormones, and mindset.

Anti-Aging & Longevity

We utilize cutting-edge age management protocols to reverse the aging process and expand longevity.

Through incredible research, we now understand that aging is an actual disease that develops from issues with cellular efficiency, cellular damage, and hormone deficiency. We have also learned that aging can be not only delayed, but actually reversed.

And we now have sophisticated tools to measure our physiologic age so we can objectively track the aging process.

Data-Driven Performance

Track and leverage your biometric data using state-of-the-art wearable technology to truly optimize your health. If you can measure it, you can manage it!

Wearable devices allow us to continually monitor various aspects of your health, such as sleep (quantity and quality), physiologic stress, fitness level, recovery status, and blood glucose levels.

This data provides real-time precision insight into your physiologic state that we can analyze to determine what works best for your body. We leverage that information to optimize every aspect of your health.
